This is the location of the first Teutonic Knight Castle constructed from stone and some remnants of the stone ramparts and cellar archer remain. A sculpture garden featuring the works of honorary citizen of Kuldīga “Līvija Rezevska” 1929-2007 is located here. Līvija Rezevska graduated from the Art Academy in 1951 and her diploma work “Violinist Lida Rubene” is located at the entrance to the museum.
